Remaining this Week

Wednesday: Advent Matins at 8:15am, Confession and Absolution at 10am, Divine Service for St. Andrew’s Day at 1:30pm, Advent Vespers at 5:30pm.

Thursday: CREDO? (I’m available)

Friday: Woodstock Christmas Parade – The float will be at the Shenandoah County Government building (600 North Main Street, Woodstock, 22664) at 4pm. Jeff would like parade participants to meet there at 4:30 to allow for time to set up and get into costume. The lineup for the parade is at 5:30 and it begins at 6:30. It may be advisable to park at Woodstock Shopping Center.

Saturday: Strasburg Christmas Parade. The float will be on site by 2pm at 397 West King Street. The lineup for the parade is at 3:30 and it begins at 4:30.

Sunday: Second Sunday of Advent. The new Church Council will be installed at the Divine Service. Please be sure to attend if you are on Council.

Looking ahead

Annual Women’s Brunch: The women of the congregation are invited to gather on December 10 at 10am to support Shenandoah Pregnancy Center and enjoy a fun time of fellowship. Please bring a breakfast dish to share, and one of the items on the wish list for Shenandoah Pregnancy Center. If you would like to participate in a cookie exchange, bring a plate of cookies to share.
