| This Sunday – We will observe St. Michael and All Angels. Preaching/Teaching on the ministry of angels and their role in the Christian life. Looking Ahead… Death, Dying, and the Christian Tradition – Class continues on Monday, October 2nd at 7pm. We continue to examine Jacobs’ presentation of the theology of the “last things”. Christmas Ornament Making – Several opportunities for this, the first will be on October 5th at 9am at Michael and Melinda’s studio (at their home). Sunday, October 8th – Harvest Sunday. Our Divine Service will focus on the blessings that God provides in the order of creation. Council Meeting – October 12th at 7pm. Apple Butter Boiling – October 20th-21st. Day One, we snit, starting at 1pm. Day Two, we boil, starting time TBA. Atlantic Mission Region Convocation – October 13th – 14th. Pastor, Jeff, and Sheri will attend this year.
